Who Are We?

Hi, I'm Yogit — a certified canine nutritionist and holistic canine herbalism practitioner based in Dubai. Buho Boost was born from a lifelong obsession with animals and my journey as a first-time pet parent (and everything that journey forced me to learn).

I was introduced to animal health in 2020 while rescuing and rehabilitating street dogs in India. Many dogs that I rescued needed urgent medical care, and I began working alongside veterinarians to complement conventional treatment with natural support.

In 2021, Bunny entered my world as a foster fail. Like many rescued street dogs, she came with host of health challenges — skin conditions, parasites, intestinal worm infestations, acid reflux. Then, at her first annual bloodwork, she was diagnosed with Stage 2 kidney disease. Barely a year old. I was shocked and devastated. But after the initial shock, something shifted.

I realized kidney disease in dogs often goes undetected until it is too late — but we had caught it early. And I had always believed in the wisdom of nature and the body's capacity to heal when given the right support. I was not ready to accept this fate for her — not without a fight.

That's when I started questioning everything. It didn't make sense that a dog barely a year old had to spend her life on dry prescription kibble. The vets couldn't explain why a kidney-supportive diet couldn't be built from fresh, whole foods. So I threw myself into finding answers — consulting holistic veterinarians, canine nutritionists, and exploring every possible healing modality. That search turned into something deeper when I formally started studying animal health & physiology, canine nutrition, holistic canine herbalism, and TCVM food therapy. I needed to connect the dots that a purely conventional approach couldn't.

When we moved to Dubai in 2023, I noticed that truly natural and holistic health solutions for dogs were hard to find. Pet parents were eager to do more for their pets' health and longevity, but the products and guidance available didn't reflect that. I built Buho Boost to change just that — a place where pet parents find not just products, but genuine expert and holistic support. A place where pet health comes first, always.
